Enlisted Named a “Design Company of the Year” Finalist by Fast Company
Enlisted is proud to announce it’s been named a “Design Company of the Year” finalist in Fast Company’s 2019 Innovation by Design Awards, the most prestigious competition honoring people, teams, and companies solving problems at the intersection of design and business.
Selected from over 4,300 candidates, Enlisted joins AirBnB, Nike, Google, and other trailblazing businesses creating “the best of the best” ambitious design work throughout an organization. Fast Company editors spend a year researching and reviewing nominees— judging innovation on functionality, originality, beauty, sustainability, depth of user insight, cultural and business impact.
For Enlisted, this honor is a recognition of our passionate team’s commitment to creating next level brands and products over the last several years. Most recent standouts include: Orro, the first truly intelligent home lighting system (also a Finalist and Honorable Mention in Fast Company’s 2019 Innovation by Design Awards); Spansive, a simple, elegant solution for wireless charging while staying connected; Arlo, the leading smart home camera that revolutionized its category with a record-breaking $1.4B IPO valuation; and our reimagined design and packaging refresh for legacy brand Perdue.
As one of the Bay Area’s top 100 fastest growing companies (named by San Francisco Business Times for the past three consecutive years), our deep interdisciplinary expertise is a key driver in setting Enlisted apart from all other creative studios. Encompassing industrial design, branding, and packaging, our diverse talents allow our team to see and impact every facet of the brand experience through design. Partnering with startups to Fortune 500 companies, our uniquely collaborative process creates lasting emotional connections between consumers, brands, and products.
The Innovation by Design Awards winners, finalists, and honorable mentions will be featured in the October issue of Fast Company magazine, on newsstands September 17. Check out the groundbreaking leaders in fashion, architecture, graphic design, data visualization, social good, user experience, mobility, and more—we hope you find them as inspiring as we do.
