Auraglow: Authentic Brand, Authentic Smiles

Auraglow is the leader in affordable at-home teeth whitening. Enlisted was initially engaged on an industrial design project for a different project, and to create a design language that will extend to future products. During a recent refresh of their brand strategy and identity with another agency, we were asked to support the reinvention of the company and elevate its status to a lifestyle brand that truly stands out from the competition with industrial design, 3D product renders, visualization, and animation.

CHALLENGE

A brand with life, not just technology

The at-home teeth whitening market has many competitors, most of which are focused solely on effective results. Of course the product needs to do what it claims, but Auraglow can do more than that. Enlisted needed to weave the overall Auraglow identity with their products as they relate to self-care and overall wellness in a way that is relevant to a wider audience.

Our team went to work creating an elegant device, charger, and its carrying case that led to consumer-facing visualization, animation, and 3D rendering to be used in social media and elsewhere. There were many firsts for the Enlisted team, including creating 3D sculpting teeth impressions out of a whitening tray, animating hair-like materials, and creating renders of a soft-sided travel case based on a physical sample provided by Auraglow. 

APPROACH

Authenticity in everything

With an eye on becoming more than just a CPG brand, Auraglow wanted to connect with consumers on a different level. We created many renderings of the products at various angles, which were ultimately turned into animation to show the product on social media and the Auraglow website.

We also provided lifestyle renders in the context of a user’s bathroom to show how elegant the design is and how it fits into someone’s personal space and daily routine. Oral wellness is a part of self-care and Auraglow is a part of that journey with the consumer.
